Villa Joy's manager can also arrange archaeological tours of Crete's famous sites. Villa Joy features very original architecture that relies on open spaces and sleek lines. Ceilings are very high and graphic bars, rather than walls, separate rooms where possible. Marble tiles, hardwood floors and dark brown furnishings enhance the zen effect. Light and views of blue enter through the central light dome of the villa and the floor to ceiling windows. The living and dining areas combine simplicity and sumptuousness. The 5 bedrooms have absolute privacy from each other due to the intricate plan of the villa. With several terraces and balconies opening up from the living areas, Villa Joy is great for travelers who love spending time outdoors. The pool area is down a few steps from the home and offers a lot of space to lounge in the sun, swim and take meals. A hot tub is in-set for when the sun goes down.
